Up for auction is a vintage torpedo-style marker light with glass lens. This streamlined Art Deco design was commonly used on automobiles, trucks, motorcycles, trailers, and custom applications from the 1930s through the 1940s.

The housing retains traces of what appears to be its original dark red paint and has developed excellent age-related patina from years of use and storage. The glass lens remains in place and shows typical wear from age. The original cloth-covered wiring is still attached but is brittle and deteriorated. Electrical function has not been tested and this light is being sold as found.

A great candidate for a traditional hot rod, survivor build, vintage motorcycle, period trailer restoration, or display piece. The streamlined bullet shape has a fantastic prewar look that is getting harder to find.

Condition is as shown in the photos. Paint is heavily worn with scratches, oxidation, and surface rust on the mounting hardware. Wiring is brittle and should be considered unusable. Lens shows age-related wear. Untested and sold for restoration or display.
