She will primarily be remembered for having played 'Wednesday Addams' in the comedy-horror sitcom "The Addams Family" (1964-1966), the first of many screen adaptations of the comic strip "The Addams Family" (1938-1988)  She later reprised the role of 'Wednesday' for the TV film "Halloween with the New Addams Family" (1977). In 1966, she appeared in the sitcom "The Pruitts of Southampton." She appeared occasionally in tv and commercials throughout the 1970s. From 1980 to 1983, she was a regular character on the soap opera "As the World Turns." She also appeared in three slasher B-movies: "Blood Frenzy" (1987), "Iced" (1988), and "Savage Harbor" (1987), and two comedy horror movies, "Way Down in Chinatown" (2014) and "Doctor Spine" (2015).
