Sugilite

Description

Sugilite is a rare very complex lithium silicate and is a member of the Osumilite Group. Most specimens are massive and make very colorful lapidiary material. This specimen comes from finds in 2015 made up of brightly coloured acicular sugilite crystals which have formed this 'nugget'.
