Up for auction is a vintage Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) featuring a charming downtown street scene in Harrisville, Michigan. The photograph is captioned “Harrisville, Mich.” across the bottom and captures a quiet Main Street lined with storefronts, utility poles, mature shade trees, and several period automobiles parked along the curb.

Based on the vehicles visible, this image most likely dates to the late 1940s to early 1950s. The postcard has an unused divided back and was printed on Devolite Peerless photo postcard stock. A great piece of Michigan history with excellent appeal for collectors of vintage automobiles, roadside Americana, small-town architecture, and Alcona County memorabilia.
