Up for auction is an outstanding original Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) featuring an exceptionally rare 1911 Warren-Detroit Model 30 Fore-Door Touring Car decorated for a civic parade in Sandusky, Ohio.

According to the handwritten message on the reverse, this photograph shows:

“Mother’s 1911 Warren Detroit automobile. First four-door car in Sandusky. Eagle Parade. Mother driving.”

This family notation identifies the automobile as a 1911 Warren-Detroit, believed to have been one of the earliest four-door automobiles in Sandusky, with the owner herself behind the wheel during the local Fraternal Order of Eagles parade.

The image captures wonderful early automotive history, featuring:

The Warren Motor Car Company operated in Detroit from 1909–1913, making surviving images of these automobiles especially desirable for collectors of Brass Era automobiles, Detroit automobile history, Ohio history, and early transportation.

Condition: Please review all photos carefully for condition. The postcard shows honest age-related wear including corner and edge wear consistent with its age but displays beautifully.
