This is another Rochester Quadrajet Level 2 high performance carb. We select only the best cores made from 1976 to 1979 carbs and then do our magic to them. This listing is for a custom built carb for use on highly modified Pontiac engines with 400 to 550+ horsepower. It is no longer a wimpy lean burn emissions type carb used in the late 70's. We always upgrade with electric chokes for reliable starting. Throttle plates are also refurbished with new bronze shaft bushings to eliminate vacuum leaks.
APT screws are accessible by removing an allen screw on the air horn to adjust off-idle and cruise performance. An adjustment tool is included. All parts we use are made in the USA.
We have been building quality high performance Quadrajets since 1980. We specialize in Pontiac versions for our Level 2 because we know them so well. Hundreds of our carbs are in use across the USA on very strong Pontiac engines. We are diehard Pontiac owners, racers, and enthusiasts.

We will make sure it is calibrated correctly so you can bolt it on, make a few adjustments, and go. This carb is not for replacing stock Quadrajets on stock engines. We use our exclusive coatings to make the carbs look great and to prevent rusting and oxidation. Note: if the original dichromate finish is still good we leave it alone and simply clean it.
