Purple boxed "First Flight Air Mail From Miami" cachet with an outline map of Florida and the Caribbean, plus a separate boxed "International F.A.M. 6" cachet, both on the front. Addressed in printed text to Geo. T. Street, care of Pan American Airways, Inc., Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Reverse bears the Santo Domingo arrival duplex cancel dated ENE 10 1929, the boxed "CORREO AEREO" first-flight routing cachet listing the service from Santo Domingo to Port-au-Prince, San Juan, and other Caribbean stops, plus the scarce large pictorial Pan American Airways route-map cachet ("FCAM6") showing the airmail route from Miami down through the Caribbean islands to Santiago, Port-au-Prince, Santo Domingo, and San Juan, Porto Rico.

A choice originating cover for this January 9, 1929 first flight, with US postage tying together the Miami departure and Dominican Republic arrival markings.
