An original and scarce cap badge of The Polish Forces in Exile, World War Two period. The badge with a Polish ID disc (dog tag) in the British style. Who was presumably the owner of the badge.

Wingspan 33.5 mm x height 52.4 mm. Die stamped on gilding metal. Threaded post mount centrally mounted to the reverse. Polish softening and attractive patina. The 35 mm pressed fibre disc is impressed with wearer details "A P 3/8/111 KASZMARZYK FRANCISZEK".
