Supercharged Honda S2000 – ~440bhp. Fantastic condition, great history, cable throttle & cheaper tax, low mileage, AC present, 12 month MOT. Moonrock grey colour.

Its with a heavy heart I put this up for sale, however I feel the time has come to scratch the Porsche itch.

Summary details inc:

Full service history, Honda till 2012 / 23,000 miles. After this, yearly serviced by specialists TGM Sport. All receipts for work done and purchases.

Dry stored & used in summer only. Car went into dry storage for 3 years 2021-2024 hence gap in MOT history. No rust on arches or elsewhere to the best of my knowledge. Can photograph areas if requested. Tastefully modified. Majority of mods were installed in ~2015/2016 at ~60,000. So have covered ~9000 miles total. 4 new tyres fitted less than 500 miles ago.

Last year of the cable throttle, purest drive however also benefiting from the cheaper tax compared to 2007 onwards.

Modifications include: TTS Rotrex supercharger Full Race kit with AC retained (C38-91), AEM series 2 ECU, intercooler, boost controller, deatsch werks injectors, BOV,Meister Zeta R coilovers (road comfortable), DEFI controller (oil pressure & temp, water temp & record function). Stoptech 328mm BBK with fast road pads (amazing stopping power), RAYs CE38n 17 alloys (light & forged), uprated Comp clutch Stage 3 2600 (organic nice OEM feel). Light weight flywheel 11lbs, uprated mounts & bushes, lowering seat brackets, Spoon body brace, Spoon engine dress kit, SPAL hiflow fan & mishimoto large/deep rad with water wetter, APR GT200 carbon adjustable Spoiler, Bluetooth radio, & more. Mods exceed ~£20,000.

The car has great road manners, very Jekyll & Hyde. You can drive normally & enjoy the extra low down torque inc stock power (~220bhp at 4,500rpm now). VTEC lowered to ~5k, wind it out beyond here and you get a great induction noise & feel Lamborghini speeds. 0-60 in ~4 secs & quarter mile in at ~12 seconds timed using draggy app. The car retains a full stock exhaust system for a quiet drive, hence the limited power. If you add a 3inch system expect to see ~5-600bhp. OEM AC also present.

Bad bits for disclosure, small car park dent on wing, small star grazing/scratch on lower front bumper. Roof has common tear starting on fold lines, never bother me as it’s a garaged & dry weather car. New roof can be fitted local prior to sale for seller if advance deposit is made to cover cost. Vented carbon bonnet & OEM spoiler available if desired.

No test drives without insurance or proof of funds. I have a super busy job & presently moving house, calls only from serious buyers. I am a car collector with inc DC5, turbo MX5s amongst others. I am very picky on what I purchase, therefore you can trust my opinion this is in great condition and drives beautifully. You wont find many tastefully modified S2000s like this in the UK. Probably only a few which still have their AC and stock exhaust. So does not wake the neighbours and can deliver a pleasurable and near stock feeling relaxed drive if required. Be warned though, at the limit this car must be respected as its blisteringly quick!  

Note, I don’t need to sell, so If you don’t like the price please do not waste my time and yours and look elsewhere. Go and price up how much this would cost to add to a S2K with similar mileage and you will appreciate it’s a bit of a bargain, if its your cup of tea.
