This is a new reproduction metal lens hood purpose-built for the Nikon Auto GN 45mm f/2.8 lens. It matches the form and function of the original Nikon HN-4 hood and features a standard 52mm filter-thread mount.
Crafted from aluminum alloy, this aftermarket hood has a premium anti-reflective matte black baked paint interior to effectively cut internal light reflection and lens flare.
You can still fit your lens cap normally with the hood mounted.

Note: This compatibility is limited to the vintage original lens cap shown in product images. A matching solid metal front cap is also available as an optional add-on.
It also works with all other 52mm filter-thread lenses, such as the Nikon 50mm f/1.8 and 40mm f/2.
