1908 Waltham grade 645 model 1908 16 size 21 jewel railroad grade pocket watch. The dial is customized with the Northern Pacific Railroad logo.

A strong running example of this timepiece, keeps accurate time when times against an electronic clock. Has not been checked for timekeeping accuracy. The time set function does NOT work properly when the lever is extended.

The movement is housed in an Illinois 10k rolled gold plate case with an ornate bezel and heavy bow. The case back is embossed with pin stripes and a cartouche for engraving, there are signs of wear and scratches to the back due to age and use. The dial has a chip near the time set lever and hairlines in the sunk center portion. See photos for details. Serial 17130998
