Offered here is an original Playbill from Gilda Radner's one-woman Broadway show, "Gilda Radner - Live From New York," signed on the cover in her hand, presented in a black frame with white matting and ready to display.

The show played a 52-performance run at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre from August 2 to September 22, 1979, directed by Lorne Michaels and drawing on the writing team behind Saturday Night Live, including Anne Beatts, Michael O'Donoghue, Alan Zweibel, Rosie Shuster, and Radner herself. It was a showcase for her most beloved SNL characters, including Roseanne Roseannadanna, Emily Litella, Lisa Loopner, and Baba Wawa, brought to the stage with racier, unedited material than network censors would allow on television, alongside numbers like the show's signature song "Let's Talk Dirty to the Animals." The production was a genuine Broadway success and was later filmed by director Mike Nichols and released as the feature film "Gilda Live" in 1980.

Gilda Radner remains one of the most beloved original cast members of Saturday Night Live, a founding member of the show's first cast in 1975 and one of its brightest breakout stars. Her career was cut tragically short: she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 1986 and died in 1989 at just 42 years old, a loss that made her the first of SNL's original "Not Ready for Prime Time Players" to pass away and one that still resonates deeply with fans of the show. Because of her early death, her signature is considerably scarcer on the market than that of most of her SNL contemporaries, and authentic examples like this one, tied directly to her celebrated Broadway run, are correspondingly harder to find.

The Playbill itself is presented signed in ink on the cover, just above the photo of Radner and her castmates in their signature roller-derby-style costumes from the show's poster art. As with any autograph, no certificate of authenticity accompanies this piece, and the item is sold as-is; buyers who require third-party authentication should factor that into their own diligence before bidding. The Playbill shows honest wear consistent with its age and use as a genuine theater program from opening week, including toning, a few small creases, and light edge wear, all visible in the photos. The frame and mat are in good clean condition with sawtooth and wire hanging hardware on the back, ready to hang or display on a tabletop easel.

  • under $750 will be shipped by Registered Mail or First Class International (delivery time up to 4 weeks)
  • or if they weight over 4 pounds  will be shipped FULLY INSURED by Priority Mail (delivery time 6-14 days non guaranteed)
  • over $750 will be shipped FULLY INSURED by Express Mail with a signature confirmation (delivery time 4-7 days)

The International bidders might want to contact us about shipping cost prior to placing their bids.

We will ship to the address listed in your eBay profile under "Shipping Details". It's buyers responsibility to provide a correct shipping address. All returned parcels because of " a wrong shipping address" parcels will be re-sent at the buyer's expense.

Please do not ask us to ship to the address not listed in your eBay profile, we will not do it unless we know you from previous transactions.

Postal Insurance
All domestic parcels with a total over $50 (for Priority mail) and $25 (for First class and Parcel Select) will be insured: $1 per up to $100 of the total (for example if total is $256, postal insurance will be $3)
All International parcels will be insured (no exceptions): $2 per $100 of the total for example if total is $256,
postal insurance will be $6)

Lost & Damaged Claims

For lost parcels, you must wait for 21 days domestic (US) and 45 days for International shipments. For shipments to Italy, you must wait 60 days before filing. Damage claims can be filed immediately. All claims should be submitted within 90 days from the date of shipment. All International parcels will be insured with U-PIC, please do not file a "not received "claim with PayPal, just contact us to resolve your problem.

If item was  damaged in transit you should not return it. You should submit an insurance claim to get a compensation. Please do not send us back broken items. If you need an assistance with your claim please contact us. 

All returned items should have a tracking number and be fully insured.
