This listing is for a pair of original cb72/cb77 rear spring and damper units. Unusually, the dampers still retain most of their damping effect. They can be disassembled with a special forked tool for topping up the oil inside if desired but they do work ok as they are. The chrome lowers were prepared for chroming but were found to have perforations. I obtained some similar ones from Hagons in Essex which work well and are compatible with the the standard plastic tops which fit over them well. The set includes the original plastic tops (slightly scratched) plus the metal tops from Hagon which have a slightly squarer profile but have a similar length. The collets are good with good chrome. I have left them disassembled for inspection but they can easily be reassembled by compressing the spring and inserting the split collets.
