The instrument is in ready to play condition with some small repaired cracks to endpin. The violin has an excellent high to medium grained spruce of the top and two pieces back of softly flamed maple. Matched sides and scroll. Rich golden color varnish with tears and wears shows an amazing wooden choice. The whole length of the violin is 590 mm and the back 358 mm.
