This is a purpose-built disassembly tool designed exclusively for the frame line retaining screws on Leica M2/M3 cameras. Standard pin spanners are difficult to apply leverage to during removal and tend to scratch the screw surface.
We have re-manufactured this tool strictly to original factory specifications, fully matching genuine Leica service tool standards. Both the handle and the front locating steel pins are identical to those used in official after-sales repair tooling.
The tool features embedded high-hardness specialty steel pins at the working end, which are highly resistant to bending. Every embedded pin tip is fully chamfered to prevent marring and damage to screw heads.
Following the original factory design, a controlled clearance is maintained between the tool body and the screw surface, eliminating direct contact and protecting the screw finish from scuffs and abrasion.
Suitable for use on frame line retaining screws of Leica M2/M3 camera bodies.
Important Note: Screw hole spacing may vary across different production batches of Leica cameras. Professional repair technicians recommend purchasing both size specifications.
