Vintage Catman Bobblehead (2000) Willie Mays New York Giants - Ltd. Ed. #3/24 . Exceptionally detailed hand-made and hand-painted bobblehead crafted by well-known Canadian artist Matt Hirsch (Catman Sports Ent.) out of Langley, British Columbia. Hand numbered, this is #4 of only 54 figurines made. It celebrates the 1951 Giants season when they won the World Series, and Mays was a Gold Glove and Rookie of the Year winner. Incredible detail is included on the base. It measures about 7-1/2" tall. Note that the bat appears to have been cleanly re-glued at its base. Part of my own collection since 2000, this item has been displayed with virtually no handling in a smoke free home. After 25+ years in my collection it's time to move on. Overall appearance as pictured.
