LOCO NOTES: 139 units were constructed in PRR's shops between 1935-1944 numbered #4800-4938, which PC and CR retained. Mainly used on the Northeast Corridor and the Mainline between Philadelphia and Harrisburg, PA.  Conrail removed all their GG1's from service in 1979
