Estate Sale Find! This set of four vintage Portmeirion canisters is a true beauty that will add a touch of elegance to any kitchen decor. The canisters feature the Botanic Garden pattern with colorful flowers and butterflies, bringing a touch of nature inside the house. Made in England in 1972, these canisters are a true treasure for collectors and vintage lovers alike.
Crafted from wood and ceramic, the canisters have a glossy finish and a lift-off lid with a single compartment. They are perfect for storing dry goods or kitchen utensils. Whether you are a fan of traditional or vintage style, these canisters will make a wonderful addition to your collection.
There are no chips or cracks. However, please note what appears to be a paint “bleed” on large canister that was done in manufacturing. Also, if the light catches it just right, there is some crazing in the glaze on the two smaller canisters (very difficult to capture in photos.) Three of the wooden lids have the seal but I’m not sure if they are air tight. The medium lid’s seal is pretty brittle and needs to be replaced. The smallest lid does not have a seal and edges show signs of wear.
