I bought this to use in my tube testing lab but learned that it does not do mutual conductance in an AC measurement with a direct display of mutual conductance. Instead, you get a plate current reading at one grid voltage setting, then change the grid voltage to get a second plate current, then calculate gM.I could already do that with my existing setup, so I have no need for this unit.

In addition, with the readily available tube data sheets, you can easily configure this tester to test just about anything, even using socket adapters to test tubes that are not octal or 9 pin miniature. You can even input external filament supply if you need voltages other than those offered internally.
