ARCHIVAL/MUSEUM-GRADE AUDIO PROVENANCE:

This is an incredibly rare opportunity to own a legendary piece of grunge history. This copy of Nirvana's Bleach—the highly sought-after 1989 Australian Waterfront Records pressing featuring the iconic red jacket with silver foil-style typography—comes with ironclad provenance. Bought in Hamburg Germany in 1989-90

Played exactly ONCE in Hamburg Germany in 1990 solely to record the album onto a cassette tape, the vinyl was immediately returned to its sleeve and placed into climate-controlled storage for the last 36 years. It has never touched a turntable since.

DETAILED GOLDMINE CONDITION GRADING:

Vinyl Media: Near-Mint (NM)

The wax is pristine. Because it was carefully played only once in 1990, the audio playback is flawlessly clean. There are no skips, no deep pops, and none of the heavy surface noise common with heavily circulated copies. This is archive-quality audio.

Jacket Sleeve: Very Good Plus

The highly fragile, matte-finish Australian cardboard sleeve has been preserved beautifully but shows honest, minor indicators of age/shelf life: A small, faint diagonal stress crease on the upper-right corner of the front cover.

A minor, superficial scuff/compression nick on the lower bottom spine edge (visible under direct inspection).

Faint, natural ring wear shadowing tracing the vinyl outline on the cover surfaces.

There are NO seam splits, NO ink markings, NO water damage, and NO barcode stickers. A truly excellent, structurally sound example of a very rare 35+ year old sleeve.

COLLECTOR & SHIPPING NOTE: This record will be packaged with professional-grade care. To completely prevent "seam splits" during transit, the vinyl record (inside its protective inner sleeve) will be physically removed from the outer jacket and packed safely alongside it inside a heavy-duty, reinforced record mailer.
