1967 Camaro RS Convertible - brand new from factory... just kidding, it's even older than I am.
CLEAN TITLE IN HAND IN MY NAME
The car is a REAL RS - trim tag supports this statement - tag picture is hard to see, but it's original, never altered, never removed
THIS IS A PROJECT CAR. Currently rolls fine on all 4 wheels. Has been sitting in my garage for over 30 years. Time to go. It looks way, way worse in pictures than it actually is. 30 years is a LOT OF DUST. Rust is mostly surface only.
MUST IDEALLY SEE IN PERSON BEFORE PURCHASE - pictures aren't great, I'm working on getting a video done.
Original color was mountain green paint, black interior, black top, originally 327 V8 and manual transmission according to vin/trim
Some joker hacked off the clutch pedal under the dash, however, so... yeah. Automatic or Manual, either one will work.
Have rear seats (wire frames - need upholstery), rear trim panels, one front seat only, kick panel vents
have most of the original chrome, 2 sets of running boards, no carpet, dash pad is excellent, brand new bowtie mirrors, original sun visors and rearview mirror, brand new window whiskers (never installed), firewall insulation pad (inside car), rubber seals for convertible top, and more rubber that is new, but I just forget what the heck it was for.
Have original gauge cluster, center console with door, air mix box, heater controls, FULL wire harness
NO engine, NO transmission
Has cowl under window vented piece, front nose top piece, lower valance panel, hood latch, one outer fender, GM factory reproduction, plus two original lower fenders (see pics, burgundy colored) - NO inner fenders, no hood - all will need to be attached.
Front subframe appears to be OK. Mostly stock suspension, disc brake conversion was done 30 years ago, should be refreshed
**** INCLUDES ADDITIONAL SUBFRAME with Detroit Speed control arms, quick ratio steering box, good disc brakes, basically rust free (except maybe rotors) as far as I can tell. Shipping the additional subframe might be a nightmare, I don't have any idea how it would happen unless the car shipped via a single trailer flatbed through Ebay. Can negotiate price with or without the frame for non-local buyers.
Rear end is GM 12 bolt. Gears are likely to be 3.73 gear posi, I believe (not positive, it's been a while) with ladder bars
Have steering column, good condition, Grant quick release steering wheel but keys are long gone for the wheel
15" centerline auto drags all around, good condition - tires are ancient, but hold air enough for rolling - no center caps unfortunately
Entire floor pan has been replaced in the past. Doors are ok, passenger quarter panel looks OK, I think it may need a full driver quarter even though it has a decent skin on the driver side.
Trunk deck lid is good, back panels are good have at least one if not both original tail light assemblies
Firewall appears to be good, just surface rust. Sail panels may need some TLC, rocker panels are good from what I can see.
Dashboard internal looks like it needs to be replaced
TOP FRAME is present, is from a POWER top vehicle, good condition, so can be converted to a power top, or used manually. Needs new front header, just like pretty much all convertible tops.
Windshield frame chrome is good, A pillars are good, window got cracked and will need to be replaced. WING windows operate and have good glass.
ASK ANY QUESTIONS - sold as-is, ideally where is, obviously. Shipping can be arranged through the Ebay system. Everything will be secured ahead of time, as well as possible, parts wise, but once it leaves the house, I can't be responsible for the unattached items. PICTURES AND VIDEO WILL BE TAKEN BEFORE SHIPPING AND DURING PICK UP FOR BUYER AND SELLER PROTECTIONS.
BID WITH CONFIDENCE - while I don't sell cars, I have close to 2000 feedback over 25 years at 100% satisfaction rate.
