A lovely quality, very tactile Italian leather stamp box with just a few signs of age and use. I believe it dates to the inter war period. There is a bit of wear to the gilt, a small amount of loss to the leather on the back corners, and the expected shelf wear to the base, see photos. The interior is beautifully lined with wood, possibly sycamore, and the hinges are sound.

It measures 10.2cm x 5.2cm x 3.5cm.
