Up for sale here is a 1934 Martin handcraft Imperial alto saxophone. Serial #110920
This alto will need new pads and currently has a mix of old and replaced pads. Like a bunch of my other horns listed, I bought this one because I’m a collector and this is a perfect candidate for a complete overhaul. Now I have too many horns in line for work and I’m letting myself part with this one. The body finish is a dark honey lacquer that is in amazing condition! The keys are a nickel silver lacquer that pops against the dark lacquer body finish. Very similar to the two tone look of the Martin Comm II “lion & crown” model.
Virtually no scratches anywhere. The neck has matching 1934 serial #. Comes with:

Original tenon plug to this horn w/ matching lacquer
Original Martin Saxophones screwdriver
The only body issue is a little oxidation surrounding the low Eb tone hole (which is always the case in just about EVERY original vintage alto. (Caused by condensation from playing)
