This is a nice, original press release photo of Great Meadows Prison opening to relieve the overpopulation at Sing Sing, to house the "mutinous convicts of Sing Sing who have converted the old prison into a place of riot and Incendiarism"  Great Meadow Correctional Facility was a maximum security prison in New York State in the United States. The prison is in Comstock, a hamlet right outside of the village of Fort Ann in Washington County, New York.

There is some mild surface discoloration and some wear at edges, corners have small creases.
