This antique Burleigh Ware Tureen, from the Sandon collection, will make a stunning addition to any collection.  Produced in England in the early 1900's, the piece is made of semi-porcelain.  The main colour is white and features a lovely blue decorative border on the edge of the lid and top of the tureen.  There is gold gilt colouring to the rim of the tureen and lid and also to the handles.  The tureen has a printed backstamp.  This piece will be perfect for serving soup, stew or vegetables and is a must-have for collectors of Burleigh Ware and vintage pottery.

Condition
The item is in good overall condition - no chips, cracks or repairs.  There is fading to the gilt on the rims and handles, and evidence of use, however this can be expected on such an old piece.  Please see the photographs for full condition details.
