A fantastic matching pair of vintage mid-century modern (MCM) 1960s/1970s Italian art glass genie bottles / decanters, crafted in the iconic glassmaking hub of Empoli, Italy.
The two 39cm tall cone-shaped bottles feature brilliant light-diffusing organic texturing: one is a rich golden amber finished in the classic vertical 'Wax Drip' or bamboo relief pattern, and the other is a soft olive green rendered in a deep, crinkled tree bark style. A beautiful pair of vintage statement pieces to display on a retro teak sideboard, shelf, or bar setup. Please note, original matching glass stoppers are not included.
Measurements: - Height: Approx. 39 cm each
Condition: Excellent - very good vintage pre-owned condition overall. Both cased glass bodies are structurally sound with no large cracks, chips, or fractures. The amber bottle is remarkably clean. The olive green bottle displays a very rough 'flea bite' texture around the upper rim which is entirely common for these pieces. Also has a cork stopper in the bottle which I’ll try to remove.
