Wimbledon Tennis Vintage Bundle Programmes Tickets Pat Cash Photos 1989 - 1990
This collection includes official programmes, original ticket, a sticker and badge and a set of original Pat Cash colour photographs taken at Wimbledon in 1989 / 1990.
The photographs are not press photographs or reproductions. They were taken by me during a school trip to the Wimbledon Championships in the late 1980s/1990 and show Pat Cash playing on No.1 Court. These original photographs have never been reproduced and are included as part of this collection. As you can see 1 photo has been covered by a finger and have also been cut to size to fit in a frame in days gone by. All items do show age and use related wear as shown in the pictures and reflected in price - but a nice collection nonetheless. A true story about the photos:
I was a big fan of Pat Cash and so excited to see him play. At the end of the game he used to throw his checked headband into the crowd. He did so after the game and I caught it! The girl in front of me (who was not on the school tip party with us) proceeded to snatch it out of my hand. We then had a tug of war and she won because a teacher intervened and said the girl should have! I got told off by the teacher (really)? and was gutted. Otherwise this bundle
