A handsome Wedgwood Black Basalt limited edition plaque depicting St Paul's Cathedral, London, presented in its original gilt frame with black mount card.



The plaque features beautifully detailed relief work showing the cathedral's western facade and dome, beneath which is cast the full inscription:



"ST. PAUL'S CATHEDRAL. LONDON. DESIGNED BY CHRISTOPHER WREN. BUILT ON THE SITE OF PREVIOUS CATHEDRALS BURNED DOWN IN 1086 AND IN THE GREAT FIRE OF LONDON IN 1666. REBUILDING OF THE PRESENT CATHEDRAL BEGAN IN 1675 AND WAS COMPLETED IN 1710."
