Setting the Dubey & Schaldenbrand Aerodyn Duo involves operating a single crown that controls the main time, the second time zone (GMT), and the pointer date.
Setting the Main Time: Pull the crown out completely to its outermost position (Position 2). Rotate the hands forward until the 24-hour sub-dial at 9 o'clock matches your current time of day (AM or PM). Set the hours and minutes to your exact local time. Push the crown back in completely.
Setting the Second Time Zone (GMT): Pull the crown out halfway to its middle position (Position 1).Rotate the crown forward (clockwise) towards the 12 o'clock marker. Each turn will advance the hours on the GMT sub-dial at 12 o'clock. Align it with the home time zone you wish to track.
Setting the Pointer Date: Keep the crown in its middle position (Position 1).Rotate the crown backward (counter-clockwise) towards the 6 o'clock marker. The pointer hand on the date sub-dial at 6 o'clock will advance by one day per click.
Important Safety Rule: To prevent mechanical damage, do not adjust the date when the watch's primary time reads between 8:00 PM and 2:00 AM.
