This is the GE/Asymptote VIA Thaw CB1000, the large-volume predecessor to Cytiva's current VIA Thaw L1000. Cytiva's L1000 maxes out at 275 mL cryobags — the CB1000 handles up to 1000 mL, 

nearly 4x the capacity of the model currently in production.

If your workflow involves large-volume cryobags, this unit fills a gap the current product line simply doesn't cover anymore. Once these CB1000 units are gone, there's no direct replacement on the market at this bag size.
