Step back into the golden age of Japanese industry with this
rare, double-sided porcelain enamel sign from Oji Paper Co.,
Ltd. (ηεθ£½η΄ζ ͺεΌδΌη€Ύ) β one of Japan's most iconic and
historic paper manufacturers, founded in 1873.
The reverse side features the name "MIYUKI," referencing the
legendary Ginza Miyuki Street (ιεΊ§γΏγγιγ) in Tokyo β a
prestigious commercial boulevard synonymous with elegance and
high-end retail culture in postwar Japan.
This sign was made to be seen from both directions, combining
bold navy-blue kanji typography on a crisp white background,
framed with a classic double-border design β a hallmark of
quality Showa-era enamel signage.
