These were used before Octane rating decals. Made from a tin metal material. Plate is embossed or stamped. I was told these were used in the 1940's but not positive. Plate has scuffs, dings and general age/usage wear. It measures 10 3/4 in. x 4 3/4 in. Overall, just a super cool old vintage Gas & Oil related collectible.
