An authentic piece of British WWII military history: an original Barr & Stroud Type F.T. 37 (No. 12 Mk VII) coincidence rangefinder with a 0.8-meter base. These heavy-duty optical instruments were standard issue for British and Commonwealth forces for artillery and mortar distance spotting.

There are a few small bits of surface wear - see photos. All the lenses look undamaged and there is no obvious damage or problems that should affect its use but I am not an optics expert and do not know how to calibrate or use it so is untested and sold as seen.

Total length is 90 cm
