ANIMAL STOCK CAR: A very nice, likely never run Lionel Lionelville Circus # 16522 for O/027 gauge 3-rail made in the USA from 1990-91 as part of the 11716 Lionelville Circus freight train set. The car has metal wheel for better tracking..
NOTE: This car does need a special activating (ramp) trip to
operate the bobbing action. But you can make your own trip to activate the Elephant's action by using a plastic or wood 12" ruler or similar. Then shaping
your ruler (activator) to ramp-up, with a center level platform area and then a
ramp down design along the long edge. Then glue the ruler with it's edge onto
the side of a track ties with hot glue or goop, etc. Finally, adjusting the shape of your
activator accordingly, so that the Giraffe operates.
It is similar to the Operating Giraffe Car No 7914 (This car itself is worth about $75 to a collector); and to the postwar giraffe cars 3376 & 3386 Giraffe Cars.
This car did not come with an individual box (from the circus set) but I'll wrap & pack with care prior to shipment.
