FASHIONED OF A PLUSH PILE BLACK SILK VELVET THAT IS LAVISHLY HAND EMBROIDERED WITH TINY JET BLACK BEADING THROUGHOUT THE EMBROIDERED DETAILING
A BLACK DOT CLUNY LACE TRIMS THE BAND COLLAR AND DOWN EACH SIDE OF THE FRONT WITH A WIDER CLUNY LACE TRIMMING ALL AROUND THE BOTTOM SWEEP
THE CUFFS ARE TRIMMED IN LACE WITH SILK COVERED WOOD BEAD AND JET BEAD DANGLE TRIMS WITH THE EMBROIDERY ON EACH SIDE OF THE CUFF
INTERIOR IS LINED IN A HAND QUILTED SILK TAFFETA, THIS PIECE WAS SEWN FULLY BY HAND
HOOK AND EYE CLOSURE IS IN THE CENTER FRONT
CONDITION: THE INTERIOR LINING HAS BREAKAGE THAT IS THROUGHOU THE INNER NECKLINE AND THE SILK ON THE INSIDE IS WEAK THROUGHOUT
SOME OF THE DANGLE BEADING IS MISSING FROM BOTH CUFFS, MORE ABSENT FROM THE RIGHT
SOME OF THE DANGLE BEADING WHICH IS ABOVE THE WIDE CLUNY LACE ON THE BOTTOM IS ALSO ABSENT ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT SIDE FRONT WITH THE BEADING THAT RUNS ALONG THE TOP EDGE OF THE BRAIDING ON THE REAR HAVING SOME MILD OXIDATION
BEAD WORK IS MISSING FROM THE EMBROIDERY ON THE REAR BACK SEAT
A HALF INCH SEAM HAS COME FREE ON THE SHOULDER AND A HALF INCH SEAM OPENED UNDER THE RIGHT UNDERARM THAT NEEDS RESTITCHING.
