I bought a matching Carver system from the original owner who passed away last year, and this CD player is one of them. This CD player is like new condition and I am not sure if the original ever use it.  It's has been inside the original box for entire its life and the remove control and batteries are never opened.  The original box is opened before and I can't list it as new old stock.  I believed I am the only person remove the top cover for my technician to replace a new belt.
