This trumpet still plays and although it has lost some compression, it has more than I expected for its age.  Valves and slides move freely, and there is little damage as pictured.  The laquer is still around 80% there, and has a beautiful cognac color, the pictures don't do this justice. The bell brace is broken on one side, but I chose not to fix this, and the 2nd slide has some dents, but they are not severe enough to effect playability.  This model was made between 1931-1942, it was one of the most popular trumpets from its time, and this is just about the best condition I've seen one of these in.

This Pan American made Cavalier model 94B trumpet is vintage circa 1936.

The model 94B was launched in 1934. It was preceded by the model 92B.
