Vintage Elgin Broad Arrow British Military Grade 581 Model 15 16-Size 22-Jewel Silvertone Antique Pocket Watch

This watch measures approximately 51.6 mm in diameter and 64.5 mm in total length including the bow.

The dial signed with the Broad Arrow symbol and the maker's name ELGIN is in attractive condition overall with some faint hairlines - see photos.

The case back is signed "ELGIN NATIONAL WATCH CO SER. NO 532" and marked with the Broad Arrow symbol; the inside case back is signed "CASED AND TIMED BY ELGIN NATIONAL WATCH CO. KEYSTONE BASE METAL 15133" - see photos. The case is in very good condition overall with normal wear; all covers open and close as they should with no prominent gaps; the crystal is in good used condition; the center of the case back has some heavier wear - see photos. 

The movement is signed "42078595 B.W. RAYMOND 22 JEWELS ADJUSTED 5 POSITIONS TEMPERATURE ELGIN NAT'L WATCH CO. U.S.A." - see photos. Winds at 12. Sets and winds smoothly. The balance staff is intact, the balance swings freely, and it runs; over a 24-hour observation period, it ran and kept time within approximately 1 minute/day.

Runs and keeps time within 1 minute/day; has not been serviced recently; sold "as is" - please review photos with care.
