For sale is a very rare 3dfx Voodoo5 5500 PCI Mac Edition graphics card with 64MB of graphics memory.
This is the Macintosh PCI version of the Voodoo5 5500, featuring dual 3dfx VSA-100 chips and both DVI and VGA/SVGA monitor outputs.
The card was tested in a Power Macintosh 8600 and is working well. It was detected in Apple System Profiler, the MacVoodoo drivers installed successfully, and was tested with a variety of games. The card displayed video correctly at 1024 x 768 in Millions of colors. Additional resolutions were also available in the Monitors control panel, as shown in the screenshots.

Condition is very good overall for its age. The card is very clean and has normal signs of use and age. The cooling fans are installed and were running during testing. Please check the photos carefully for the exact item and condition.

This is vintage Macintosh hardware. Use requires a compatible PCI Power Macintosh, correct drivers, suitable power connection, and era-appropriate knowledge. Compatibility with every system, OS version, monitor, or driver configuration cannot be guaranteed.
MacVoodoo drivers are not included, but can be downloaded from the Macintosh Garden and Macintosh Repository.
