The original manufacturer's sticker is still on the inside of the base. This napkin holder is particularly nice because it has more abalone shell in it than many pieces that I've seen. The translucent bottom looks like it was cracked and glued. It appears stable and I didn't notice it until I inspected the napkin holder carefully to write this description. The edges where napkins are inserted are chipped. Please review the photos. Questions welcome.
