My parents ran a Head Shop in Potsdam, NY from 1960 to 1992.   They sold posters to most of the students at SUNY Potsdam, Crane School of Music, Clarkson University, ( Clarkson College at the time) and St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY.

 During the twenty two years that their business was primarily posters, they sold well over a hundred thousand posters and when they retired from business, they put their entire collection in storage until 2012.  My sister sold posters on the internet for a few years until she moved to Florida, then my wife and I packed up the entire inventory and moved it to Orange, CA.

 We only have two or three thousand posters left, but most of the posters are in their original packaging.  Some have pinholes on the edges where they were hung up for display, and some of the posters were opened by us to determine the condition.  We copied the information on the poster, measured it, and returned it to its plastic sleeve.  If there were more posters of the same kind, we did not open the sleeve or remove any tags that were on the outside of the packaging.

 If you buy a poster from us, be very careful unwrapping it because these posters have been in their sleeves since the sixties and seventies and the silk screen posters have to be handled especially carefully because of the thickness of the paper.
