The T34/76 was dominant in the early stages of WW2, and also came as a nasty surprise to Germany from 1942. First saw service in 1940 and had a lasting impact on the battlefield due to production variants available over a relatively short period of time. Impressive balance of fire power, armour protection and very good mobility. The tank had a 76.2 mm gun, with secondary machine gun availability. In 1941 German general Kleist called the T34 range of tanks finest fighting vehicles in the world. Speeds up to 55mph and over 40000 produced in a four year period.
I have three hand made all glass display cases if anyone is interested which will hold eight of this scale series or other large models from 1:6 scale - priced at £30 each and is only available on a collection only basis. In the past used for displays of models or models soldiers / dioramas etc. Expensive when made - size is 22.5 inches long x 13.5 inches wide and 10 inches in height. Case is mirror backed with bottom wooden frame mahogany in colour, whilst the inner standing area is in black material fabric.
I have a very good collection of WW1 & WW2 items which will be listed in due course.
