The Backstory & Provenance:I acquired this item directly from the estate of a prominent 1960s GOP marketing and campaign official who was heavily involved in California politics during the historic 1962 California Gubernatorial race between Richard Nixon and Pat Brown. Campaign charm bracelets were highly popular at the time. This note beautifully documents Hayley Mills writing back to personally thank the campaign manager for sending her promotional/political charms.
