Absolutely stunning and unique vintage 1930’s bias cut silk dressing gown with matching tie belt.

It has a sweet rounded collar, beautiful bias cut puff sleeves and a long brass zipper along the front with matching tie belt and loops at sides.

Blouson, garden party/hostess panache with a nod to the bauhaus style art movement in the clean lines and dark colors. She also reminds us a little of Joan Crawford. Could absolutely be worn as dress!

There is a hint of a tag left, so no known maker, but beautifully made, and in excellent condition. The only flaws are a thinned section of stripe at the back of neck and two very small unnoticeable runs near zipper. They are both noted in photos.
