The AstrHori AH-MGA170 is a newly developed macro focusing rail designed for high-magnification macro photography, super macro shooting, and focus stacking work. It allows precise forward and backward camera movement without moving the tripod, making it ideal for controlled close-up shooting in studio, tabletop, product, insect, flower, watch, jewelry, and technical photography.

With a 160mm adjustable rail range, the AH-MGA170 gives photographers enough travel distance for flexible framing and accurate focusing. The fine adjustment handle moves the rail by 0.5mm per full rotation, while the stage adjustment handle provides 2mm movement per rotation. This precision control makes it suitable not only for standard 1:1 or 2x macro lenses, but also for high-magnification macro lenses above 5x.

The camera mounting plate is Arca Swiss compatible, allowing quick setup with many Arca-type clamps, tripod heads, and camera plates. The rail also includes base plate mounting options, so it can be used on a tripod or placed directly on a tabletop for stable macro shooting.
