The AstrHori 40mm F5.6 is a compact manual focus prime lens designed for Fujifilm GFX medium format mirrorless cameras. With its 40mm focal length, it offers a natural wide-angle field of view, making it a practical choice for travel, street photography, landscape, architecture, night scenes, and environmental portraits.
The lens features a 7-element, 5-group optical design and is built to deliver strong image quality for medium format cameras. Its compact body weighs only about 350g, making it easy to carry and well balanced on GFX camera bodies.
A specially designed focus ring provides smooth and precise manual operation. The stepped design between the focus ring and aperture ring helps reduce accidental adjustment while shooting.
One of the unique features of this lens is its 5-blade aperture design. At around F8, it can create a distinctive pentagonal starburst effect, which is especially useful for night scenes, city lights, and creative portrait photography.
