VTG Japanese Gold & Silver Display Folding Fan Hand-Painted Bamboo Design
Design:
This vintage fan came from Kyoto's renown fan makers. It is made of sturdy washi paper with glossy black lacquered bamboo struts. It is a on one side and silver on the other and is hand-painted in a dramatic bamboo design. Note that it is difficult to capture the richness of gold and silver under photo lights and it is even more beautiful in real life!

It measures about 20” or 51cm from tip to tip when open and is a little over 11” or 29cm long when closed. Weight: 124g
Condition:
Excellent, vintage, never-used vintage condition in original storage box with folding wooden display stand: see photos.
