BARNEY GOOGLE AND

SNUFFY SMITH

SUNDAY THIRD PAGE COMIC STRIPS

By Fred Lasswell

The BARNEY GOOGLE AND SNUFFY SMITH strip

has been in print since 1919 and is one of the longest running

newspaper comics in history.  The BARNEY GOOGLE character is

rarely seen these days and some papers carry this strip as

SNUFFY SMITH.  The strip was created by Billy DeBeck

and upon his death in 1942, his assistant Fred Lasswell

took charge and worked the strip until his death, in 2001.

The strip is currently drawn by John R. Rose,

Lasswell’s former assistant.

YES!  I COMBINE SHIPPING!

Unfortunately, I cannot see what is in your Shopping Cart until you

confirm your order.  Look for the link, in blue, stating "Request Total" or

"Request Combined Invoice," depending upon which eBay sales platform

you are using. Click this link and the next page generated shows the

items that you are committing to buy and a space for you to give any

special instructions to the seller. You can now click the blue link

"Commit to Buy" and submit your request for an adjusted invoice.

I usually respond within an hour or two, but if I'm delayed

don't worry, once you have confirmed the order, the items

are reserved for you until payment or cancellation of the

order.   If something goes wrong and eBay charges

you the full amount for shipping, don't worry, I always

combine purchases and will refund the excess when

I pack your order.  You will receive an email from me,

and another from eBay, confirming the
