Real protection from thermal imagers!

Like a poncho = worn on yourself, or pulled on like a screen in front, like a roof on top.

Front and back = Oxford cartoon, in the middle a specialized foil vapor barrier.

Advantages:

* really does not penetrate thermal imagers from any working distance (tested with both a thermal imaging sight and different thermal imagers)

There are some nuances of what thickness to put an aluminum vapor barrier. For snipers who are at a distance of 200 and further.. meters, a vapor barrier density of 80 is enough, the main thing for them is quieter and easier.

To cover yourself in the trenches = even thinner ~ 60 density is enough, because you will not press that poncho to the body and there will be air movement.

But for guards, miners, drone operators, medics... + we add shoulder pads made of parolone so that there is air movement. And we set the vapor barrier to 110.

This is ideal for camouflage at a distance of 100m (in winter and from 30-40 meters full protection, but in summer it is better to stick to 100 meters).

For reconnaissance = it is necessary individually based on the task, but more often we do it more densely than usual.

Attention! this is not an invisibility cloak, but rather protection from a thermal visor. Which hides the temperature. Modern thermals have 4 modes, and can simultaneously apply to the screen both PNB waves and thermals and... Then everything is visible on the screen, including trees and stones.

Therefore, task #1 = blur the silhouette of a human torso. And this poncho also copes with this task.

That is, do not expect that the silhouette of the poncho will not be visible at all (look at the last photos). There will be NO thermal glow of the human body, secondly = the silhouette of the body will be hidden in the landscape.

* does not fit tightly to the skin, so it does not warm up quickly from the body even on a summer night (this is due to the fabric made in three layers that are not tightly connected + the design of the poncho itself provides air movement).

Therefore, the design does not fit like clothing, but like a poncho.

* original cartoon ornament = perfect camouflage for spring, summer, autumn;

* strong to tear. Unlike ordinary foil, which climbs along the seams;
