The Devi Ever Eye of God feedback looper pedal is a rare and unique piece for electric guitar enthusiasts that was produced in the 2010's boutique/DIY pedal scene.
This pedal is handmade in the United States by Devi Ever, which is now defunct, but I believe were all handmade by an individual in the Pacific Northwest in my memory serves.
Devi Ever conceived the Eye of God in the mid-2000s as a pure feedback looper: a deceptively simple box that forces any effect pedals in its loop to devour themselves, creating chaotic, self-generating noise, oscillation, and controlled destruction.
The premise is identical to other feedback loopers on the market: patch your distortion, delay, or modulation pedals back into themselves. What happens when a fuzz multiplies to infinity? Or when a delay’s repeats get re-repeated until they become a screaming drone? The Eye of God makes that happen—feeding the output of your pedal chain back into its input, turning your rig into a living, breathing noise machine.
